We like options: why you get multiple looks during your shoot.

Providing our clients with multiple looks also means receiving a variety of options to submit as headshots and allowing you to choose based on the tone and vibe of the event, publication or platform.

When asked how often someone should update their headshots, I always recommend coming in yearly to keep up with new trends and your own current style. However, the reality is we all get busy and it’s not rare to see clients using the same photos for years. That’s why we make it our goal to create photos that will stand the test of time and aim to create a variety of timeless photos with different looks.  While you’re here we can squeeze in up to five different looks with good timing and planning. You have different looks for the office and for when you go out on a date, so why wouldn’t you bring both those sides of you to a photo session. You’re here, let’s play!

When we plan out your photo session, we first discuss the story you want to tell and what you want your photos to say about you. Are we showing your business persona and then bringing in more color to show off your sassy side? Are we letting Keely sneak in a little more skin for a sexy glance? We can play with jewelry, accessories, pops of color and loosening up ties, but the various looks are not always about changing outfits. I love to get creative by swapping backgrounds, changing locations, adjusting lighting and reframing the shot.

My sessions are intentionally timed to let it all happen. And, can I be honest? As the shoot goes on, I see more and more of my clients loosening up and their personalities coming out. The transformation really shifts the images in a new direction when you let the playfulness rise and take over!

The best results come from when my clients trust the process and try something new. I challenge you to push me out of my comfort zone as well. We’ve been asked for done Sex & the City vibes, moodiness with black background and dark lighting, playfulness on trampolines, and festiveness with confetti tosses. Let our studio’s white walls be your blank canvas and we can let our imaginations go wild together.
